The Islands of Koh Haa are situated approximately one and a half hours from Ao Nang by speed boat. The northen most island and the best dive site of the five islands is Koh Haa Nouang. This dive site is highly recommended and packs some very inticing features; The chimney, caverns, swim-throughs and a beautiful rock formation with a fantastic coloration of soft coral along the southern side. To the west and north west lies a reef wall. To the east a sloping reef with some impressive coral.


Whale Shark, Krabi

A great variety of marine life is found here; Anemone Fish, Lion Fish, Angel Fish, Butterfly Fish and invertebrate life from small Tiny Gobies, Nudibranch, Ghostpipe Fish and Seahorses to giants like Manta Rays, Whale Sharks and the Oceanic Nomads, Tuna and Rainbow Runners.

Harlequin Shrimp, Krabi

Koh Haa Lagoon is the area between islands 2 + 3 + 4. It holds beautiful crystal clear waters.This is the perfect location for training dives and snorkeling. Koh Haa Lagoon also offers some impressive Patch Coral and surrounding reefs.There's a small cave on the north side of island No. 2 in addition to the swim-through on island No.3. All levels of divers are sure to enjoy this dive site.


Frogfish, Krabi

There is an exellent chance to see some small beautiful species like the Harlequin Shrimp and Frogfish at this dive site. On the eastern side of Island No.2 a large variety of colourful Nudibranchs have been seen. Lionfish, Moray eels, Leopard Sharks, Blacktip Reef Sharks, Turtles and Octupus can often be seen. At the right time of the Year Whale Sharks and Manta Rays come to visit this area.

Cave diving in Krabi

The biggest Island in the southwest with stunning scenic views. This Area is popular with cavern divers, offering 3 different caves to explore. Surfacing inside the 2 largest caverns is possible. Just outside the entrances to the caverns you"ll find fantastic rock formations adorned with multi-coloured soft coral. To the east is a beautiful fringing reef along the island coast line. The most beautiful dive is to the southeast. Upon low tide begin from the beach on the east side and follow the current to the south. The other option is to begin from the south and enter the caverns. Upon exit turn east and follow the wall on high tide to shallow water on the east side where you'll find beautiful patch reef.

Koh Haa Yai offers a greater chance to see oceanic nomads like schools of Rainbow Runner and Tuna hunting the smaller fish. Turtles, Octopus, Cuttle fish, Sea Snake are often seen along the reef too with common sightings of Lion fish, Scorpion fish. Beautifull small fish like Ghostpipe Fish shelter amongst the sea fans and soft coral at the wall to the south. Again, Whale Sharks can often be seen here at the right time of year.
